# How Long Does It Take for Funds to Clear for Trading?

## Funding times depend on the payment method and the clearing partners' processing requirements.

### Typical Processing Times

**Bank wire transfers** typically clear the same day or next business day once received

**ACH transfers** are subject to a confirmation hold based on the deposit amount:

| **Deposit amount** | **Hold Time** |
| --- | --- |
| \<$1,500 | 1 business day |
| $1,500-$2,500 | 2 business days |
| $2,500-$5,000 | 3 business days |
| \>$5,000 | 5 business days |

Funds must be fully cleared before they are available for trading.

**Processing Notes**

Processing times may vary due to bank processing schedules, weekends, holidays, or additional verification requirements.
