How much should you deposit?

The right deposit amount depends on the contracts you plan to trade, the number of contracts you want to hold at once, and how you plan to manage risk.

At minimum, your account needs enough capital to cover:

• The intraday margin requirement for the contracts you plan to trade
• Room for normal price movement without hitting margin
• Any potential losses on trades that do not work out
