# Is MetroTrade Regulated?

## Yes. MetroTrade is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as an Introducing Broker (IB) and is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA).

You can verify our registration and standing at any time using the NFA’s BASIC search tool at [nfa.futures.org/basicnet](https://www.nfa.futures.org/basicnet/). Our NFA ID is 0558016.

As a regulated brokerage, we operate under the rules and oversight of both the CFTC and the NFA. This includes strict requirements around customer fund segregation, risk disclosures, business conduct, marketing communications, and record-keeping.
