Navigating the Mobile Interface
The MetroTrade mobile app includes the same core trading tools as the web platform, organized into a bottom navigation bar with five tabs. This article walks through what each tab includes.
The App at a Glance
The bottom navigation bar includes:
- Home: An account dashboard with your balance, P&L, open positions, and a markets preview.
- Markets: Your watchlists.
- A center chart tab: Opens the chart for your currently selected symbol, where you analyze markets and place trades.
- Trades: Your positions, orders, and trade history.
- Settings: App and account settings.
Home
The Home tab is a dashboard giving you a snapshot of your account.
- Account info: Shows your account type, buying power tier, and whether you're on a Live or Demo account, along with your account number.
- Balance: Your current account balance, with your all-time change shown just below it.
- Quick stats: Open P/L, Daily P/L, Free Margin, and your number of open positions.
- Open Positions: A preview of your open positions, with a "See All" link to the full Positions view in the Trades tab.
- Markets: A preview list of market symbols, with a "See All" link to the full Markets tab.

Markets
The Markets tab is your watchlist.
- A symbol count shows how many contracts are in your current watchlist.
- Use the search bar to find and add a contract.
- Category tabs let you switch between Favorites and other groupings, such as Crypto Indices or Currencies.
- Within a category, contracts are grouped by asset type, with a count next to each group and a chevron to collapse or expand it.
- Each row shows the symbol, contract name and exchange, last price, percentage change, and bid/ask. Tap the X to remove a contract from Favorites.
- Tapping a symbol loads it on the Chart tab. The currently loaded symbol is highlighted in the list.

Chart
The center tab opens the chart for your currently loaded symbol.
- The search bar at the top doubles as a display of the loaded symbol, with its current price and percentage change shown next to it.
- The toolbar below includes: timeframe selector, contract details (the i icon), one-click trading (lightning bolt), a toggle for the order panel, indicators, drawing tools (pencil), and display settings (sun icon).
- Below the toolbar, the chart itself shows candles and a volume histogram.
- A floating button in the bottom right gives quick access to open the order panel from anywhere on the chart.
- If you hold an open position in the loaded symbol, a summary bar appears just above the bottom navigation showing your position and its current P&L.

Placing an Order on Mobile
Tapping the floating "+" button (or the order panel toggle in the toolbar) opens the order panel as a sheet that you can drag between two views:
- Compact view: Order type tabs, Buy and Sell price boxes, quantity, order duration (Day or GTC), a collapsed Stop Loss & Take Profit row, margin usage, fees, and the submit button.
- Expanded view: The same information, with the Stop Loss & Take Profit section expanded to show tick presets, exact price, and estimated P&L for each.
This works the same way as the order panel covered in Placing a Market Order, Placing a Limit Order, and Placing a Stop Order.

Trades
The Trades tab matches the Trades panel on web, with tabs for Positions, Orders, Orders History, and Closed Trades.
- At the top, you'll see your unrealized P&L, along with a Close All button to close every open position at once.
- Orders History shows the same information as on web: status, symbol, side, order type, average price, size, filled amount, time in force, timestamp, and Order ID.
