Not able to enter order from Watchlist
If the watchlist won't allow orders for a specific product but other products work normally, it may be an issue with the contract month.
If you click on a specific product in a public watchlist, and are unable to pull up a chart or enter an order, it may be because the contract month is due to expire and the public watchlist hasn't migrated to the next contract month.
MetroTrader stops allowing order entry in expiring contracts two days prior to expiration. So, for example, if the trade date is June 16th and the expiration/last trading day for the June E-mini contract is on June 18th, but the expiration/last trading day for the June Euro FX contract is June 17th, you can enter an order for the June mini S&P but not for the June Euro FX.
To enter an order for the Sept Euro FX contract, create a Personal Watchlist and manually add the Sept Euro FX contract to it. Then trade as normal.
Within the personal watchlist, start typing the contract code, then choose the 'Futures' tab to choose the specific contract month.
